Donald Trump attorney John Eastman’s request to remain a working attorney while he appeals a court ruling recommending his disbarment is facing steep opposition from the California State Bar, saying his willingness to ignore facts is too big a risk.
The State Bar of California filed a motion Wednesday opposing Eastman’s request to continue practicing law while he appeals. The bar said Eastman shouldn’t be allowed to because of his history “misrepresent[ing] the law in the advocacy of his clients.”
