Cal-Maine Giving 2 Million Eggs to End Texas Price Gouging Suit

Cal-Maine Foods Inc. will donate 2.16 million eggs to resolve a lawsuit from Texas into price gouging during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The large brown or white eggs will be distributed to 17 specified food banks within 120 days, according to an agreed judgment in state court that Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) announced Thursday.
