Caesars Mistreated Casino Dealer Who Had Heart Attack, EEOC Says

Caesars Entertainment Inc. and related companies discriminated and retaliated against a worker at Baltimore’s Horseshoe Casino, ultimately firing him, after he had a heart attack at work and took medical leave,an EEOC lawsuit says.

Quann Massey was immediately hospitalized after the incident and reported to his supervisor and others that he would need surgery, according to the complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Maryland. The casino dealer also asked about medical leave and stated he might have medical restrictions when he returned to work, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says.
