Business Casual Holdings LLC lost an appeal in a suit accusing YouTube LLC of indirect copyright infringement when a third-party reposted materials from a few of the plaintiff’s videos.
The company runs a YouTube channel by the same name where it explored how various businesses achieved success and built their reputations, among other topics. Many of Business Casual’s videos have millions of views. The company said that three videos that TV-Nosti posted on the RT Arabic channel contained copyrighted material from Business Casual’s videos.
