Burger King Owner Evades CIPA Claims in Cookie Banner Lawsuit

Burger King parent Restaurant Brands International Inc. convinced a federal judge to toss California Invasion of Privacy Act claims from a proposed class action over tracking cookies on the fast food chain’s website because the claims were filed too late.
