Brooklyn Prep School Sued by Security Guard for Age Bias (1)

Brooklyn, NY’s Poly Prep Country Day School has been sued by a long-time security guard and his now ex-boss, claiming the former was denied a promotion on the account of his age and race and the latter was forced out after advocating for him.

David Edwards, a 62-year-old Black security officer, and Salvatore Bonaventura, the former head of security, claim that the school and Lynda Casarella, a White employee, discriminated against them based on their race and age.
