Boxing Promoter Top Rank Owes Manager $25 Million, Suit Claims

Boxing promoter Top Rank Inc. and its president Todd duBoef owe $25 million dollars to a boxing manager who signed big-name fighters and served as a “fixer” to maintain the company’s relationship with ESPN, alleges a lawsuit filed Thursday in a Los Angeles federal court.

William Keane’s complaint in the US District Court for the Central District of California says duBoef—who has been president of Top Rank since 2004—does not dispute that Keane is owed millions of dollars for the services he provided to Top Rank.
