Massachusetts law firm Bowditch & Dewey LLP has reached a settlement in a legal malpractice lawsuit brought by a wholesaler alleging its faulty advice resulted in a $20 million fine, court documents show.
Hudson-RPM Distributors LLC, which distributes books, periodicals, and newspapers wholesale, sued the firm in 2019 over advice lawyers David Grossi and Terrence Briggs provided about its financial obligations to a Teamsters pension fund.
