Boston University failed to pay many of its non-striking graduate student workers on time after others unionized and went on strike, according to a class action lawsuit.
The university implemented a new payment process in response to a March 2024 strike, requiring workers to complete “attestations” that they worked in order to receive their weekly stipends.
