BorgWarner, Black Married Workers Agree to End Harassment Suit

Two married former BorgWarner Inc. coworkers agreed to drop their lawsuit alleging they were subjected to a racially hostile work environment.

The parties filed a stipulation of dismissal Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois after reaching a settlement agreement, per a Jan. 5. status report. Christopher Morris alleged his manager subjected him to racial harassment and insults, and Latonia Morris claimed that supervisor used racially-charged language in her presence.
