Boeing Moves Suit Over 737 Mid-Flight Blowout to Federal Court

Boeing Co. has moved to federal court a suit brought by passengers aboard the flight where a 737 Max-9’s door flew off at 16,000 feet.

Passengers aboard Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 sued in the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for Multnomah County, accusing the company of failing to guarantee the safety of the aircraft. Boeing on Thursday filed a notice of removal to the US District Court for the District of Oregon.
