Boca Raton Gay Conversion Therapists Win $737,000 Fee Award

Therapists in Boca Raton, Fla., who challenged conversion therapy bans at the city and county level were awarded almost $737,000 in attorneys’ fees and expenses after the civil entities settled the case.

Boca Raton and Palm Beach County prohibited licensed professional counselors from conducting sexual orientation change efforts in 2017, due to concern the controversial treatment posed serious health risks for children.
