‘Blue Lives Matter’ Facebook Posts Land NJ Judge Suspension

The New Jersey Supreme Court suspended a state judge for two months for Facebook posts backing conservative critiques of the state’s bail system overhaul, as well as other political statements.

Point Pleasant Beach Municipal Judge Robert M. LePore must show the court that he’s taken four hours of implicit bias training before coming back to the bench, the court ordered, after LePore told the justices at oral argument last December that his social media activity “sickened” him.
