Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has agreed to end a lawsuit from from a former employee who alleged that the health insurer denied his request for a religious accommodation from its Covid-19 vaccine mandate.
Judge Stephen J. Murphy III with the US Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on May 2 signed a stipulated order of dismissal in the case against BCBS from Vaughn Housepian that dismissed the action with prejudice. Nothing in the order or the case docket indicates whether the matter has been settled, or if so, what terms of the settlement might be.
