Blockchain (Gb) Ltd. and Binance Holdings Ltd. were hit with identical suits alleging they infringed patents protecting technology for a consolidated currency transaction process.
Intercurrency Software LLC filed the two complaints Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The suits say both platforms infringed three of its patents protecting a consolidated trading platform that presents prices, transaction results, and market and currency exchange rates while also performing a currency conversion based on specific conditions, according to the complaint.
The complaints cite Blockchain’s exchange app and website and Binance’s web trading platform.
