Video game developer Blizzard Entertainment sued the creators of a private gaming server for copyright infringement over its modified version of Blizzard’s “World of Warcraft” game.
The company alleged in its June 12 complaint that Derek Powell and Bryan Thomas Mannion hosted Project Ascension after accessing at least five of Blizzard’s servers and “copied the entirety of the World of Warcraft client software.”
