Blackstone Consulting $1 Million Class Wage Settlement Gets Nod

A $1 million settlement agreement to resolve a suit from workers who said Blackstone Consulting Inc. violated the California Labor Code received final approval from a federal court.

The US District Court for the Southern District of California approved the settlement on Wednesday for a proposed class of workers at Kaiser Permanente facilities in California between May 21, 2017, and April 30, 2023. The workers alleged BCI failed to pay wages, provide meal and rest breaks, and provide accurate wage statements, among other violations.
