D.C. Restaurant Group Hits Austin Oyster Bar With Trademark Suit

The owners of Pearl Dive Oyster Palace in Washington, D.C., filed a trademark infringement suit against Pearl Dive Oyster Bar LLC in Texas.

Black’s 14th Street LLC alleges that the Austin restaurant is using its name “and iconic diver logo” in order “to trade off the resounding consumer goodwill and reputation of the Pearl Dive Oyster Palace Trademarks and Plaintiff’s Pearl Dive Oyster Palace branded restaurant and bar services,” according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
