Prep School Educators End Bias Suit Over DEI Pushback (Correct)

Pennsylvania’s Sewickley Academy and four White educators settled a lawsuit alleging race bias drove their firings after the school scrapped its DEI initiative following parent complaints that wrongly labeled it “Critical Race Theory dressed in sheep’s clothing.”

The US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania on Tuesday approved a request by Sewickley, Michael Ann Cerniglia, D. Barrett Gough, Jill Korber Small, and Gail Wolfe to dismiss the May 17 suit.

The case is “dismissed with prejudice, with each party to bear its own costs and attorneys’ fees,” according to the parties’ stipulation.
