Black Philadelphia School Administrator Can Sue for Retaliation

The School District of Philadelphia failed to convince a federal judge to toss an administrator’s hostile work environment and retaliation claims, but did get racial discrimination and emotional distress claims dismissed, for now.

Dr. Charlotte Brickhouse, who is Black, started her position as Executive Director of the district’s Office of Specialized Services in 2020, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said.
