Chewy, Inc. has been hit with a new lawsuit in federal court from a former employee alleging racial discrimination in violation of Title VII and the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992.
Sedley Daley, a Black man, alleges, in a complaint filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, that Chewy discriminated against him by failing to promote him to an IT Site Support Technician III position and instead promoting less qualified non-Black employees.
