Bissell Homecare Sued Over Allegedly Fire-Prone Cordless Vacuums

Bissell Homecare Inc. deceived consumers about the safety of certain cordless vacuum cleaners recently recalled for a possible fire risk and didn’t adequately publicize the recall, a California woman alleges in a new proposed class action.

For nearly 150 years, Bissell has built itself up as a brand consumers trust, with marketing statements like “We know the peace of mind that comes with having a clean home for those you hold closest to your heart,” the suit says.
