Bird Marella Settles Claims Over Sofie Biosciences Valuation

Los Angeles boutique law firm Bird Marella and partner Ron Nessim were dismissed from a lawsuit over a “Toy Story” screenwriter’s claims that a biotech company deliberately undervalued assets in a deal that the investor and his wife helped finance.

Beyond Infinity II, an LLC to which Joel Cohen and Michelle Pietra assigned their claims, reached a no-cost settlement with Bird Marella and Nessim, a copy of the agreement reviewed by Bloomberg Law shows.
