Binance Fails to Bring Bitcoin Sales Class Action to Arbitration

A cryptocurrency exchange site and its founder failed their bid to bring a proposed securities class action to arbitration.

Binance and Changpeng Zhao can’t compel arbitration for claims made prior to Feb. 20, 2019, or enforce a class action waiver included in its terms of use, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said in a Thursday opinion.
