Biden’s Health Department Appeals Ruling on LGBTQ Bias Policy

A Texas federal judge’s declaration that the Affordable Care Act doesn’t prohibit discrimination in health care on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation will be reviewed by the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra on Jan. 20 told the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas that he’s appealing the decision.
