Scribe Opco Inc., which does business as BIC Graphic, settled a class action alleging it laid off hundreds of employees nationwide at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic without providing the advance notice required by federal law, Florida federal court records show.
All of the parties and their lawyers appeared at a mediation session on Oct. 21 and the case has been completely settled, a report filed with the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida said.
