Bezos’ Nude Pictures Beget No Defamation Suit: California Court

Jeff Bezos and his long-time investigator have defeated a defamation lawsuit over nude pictures published of the Amazon.com Inc. boss.

The California Supreme Court declined Wednesday to disturb an appeals court upholding a ruling that the defamation claim Michael Sanchez filed was based on inadmissible hearsay.

Sanchez sued Bezos and investigator Gavin de Becker for defamation for having claimed he leaked photos to the National Enquirer as part of a conspiracy to damage Bezos. The photos accompanied an article about Bezos’ extramarital relationship with Wendy Sanchez, Michael’s sister, the lawsuit said.
