Online sportsbook operator BetMGM LLC has resolved consolidated litigation arising from a 2022 data breach that exposed the personal information of more than 1.5 million customers.
Judge Julien Xavier Neals of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey dismissed the lawsuit Monday pursuant to the parties’ joint stipulation of dismissal filed a week earlier. The plaintiffs alleged that BetMGM negligently failed to implement reasonable and adequate measures to protect their sensitive data.
