Bedding Company Hit With False-Ad Suit Over Eco-Friendly Labels

LuxClub Inc., a self-described luxury bedding company, deceptively advertised sheets as eco-friendly and made of bamboo despite making the sheets from viscose, a proposed consumer class action alleges.

In addition to viscose, which is derived from highly processed bamboo but contains no bamboo in the final fabric, the sheets are also made of microfiber, which is made from polyester, the complaint filed June 21 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of California says.
