A beauty products company allowing individuals to “virtually try on” its products online agreed to settle a potential class action accusing it of violating an Illinois privacy law.
In a US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois filing Thursday, Laprena Brown’s lawyers said her lawsuit against AS Beauty Group LLC “has been settled as to all of Plaintiff’s claims against Defendant in this action.” No settlement terms were disclosed, but the document did say the performance of terms of the settlement are scheduled to be completed by Nov. 12.
