Beauty Brand Sues E-Commerce Sites Over Promoting Knockoffs

Cosmetics company Veni Group LLC is suing online marketplaces including TikTok, Amazon, and eBay for allegedly allowing and promoting the sale of products that infringe Veni’s trademarks.

The beauty brand filed a complaint in the US District Court for the Central District of California against dozens of e-commerce sites. It says the online marketplaces sell infringing products such as lip gloss from competing brands that copy a trademarked Veni logo of lips above the word “Wow.”
