Beasley Allen Ouster From New Jersey J&J Talc Suits Stands

A New Jersey trial court refused to stay an order disqualifying Beasley Allen from the sprawling litigation involving more than 70,000 ovarian cancer claims by users of Johnson & Johnson talc-based products.

Superior Court Judge John C. Porto, who oversees hundreds of cases filed against J&J in the state’s multicounty litigation proceedings, denied the Alabama-based litigation firm’s pleas to pause a Feb. 6 ruling from the state appellate division that would knock out the firm, which is handling thousands of claims.
