Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Beat Website-Surveillance Lawsuits

Nine lawsuits alleging that BPS Direct LLC and Cabela’s LLC tracked user interactions with their websites in violation of state and federal wiretap laws were thrown out by a federal court.

Plaintiffs in the proposed class actions failed to show that they had suffered concrete injury sufficient for Article III standing, Judge Mark A. Kearney of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said.
