Baptist Honeywell Worker’s Covid Vaccine-Refusal Claim Revived

Honeywell International Inc. must face a Lousiana dock operator’s claim over his firing after being denied a religious exemption from its Covid-19 vaccine mandate and continuing refusal to get vaccinated, the Fifth Circuit ruled.

A jury could find the Baptist Christian man sincerely believed that being vaccinated would violate his religious beliefs, and a lower court was wrong to decide that fact issue without a trial, a unanimous panel said Tuesday.
