Baker & McKenzie Loses Bid to Move Malpractice Lawsuit to London

Baker & McKenzie suffered a legal setback Wednesday when an Illinois appellate court rejected its bid to move a legal malpractice case to Moscow or London from Chicago.

London-based Lehram Capital Investments Ltd. asserted legal malpractice charges against Moscow-based Baker & McKenzie CIS lawyers and sued “Baker LLP” in Cook County, Ill.
