BAE Systems’ agreement to pay $6.3 million to settle a Fair Labor Standards Act class action by workers at its San Diego ship repair shop was preliminarily approved by a federal judge.

The class BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair employees who, generally, worked at least one workweek between October 2017 through June 2024 includes 2,582 people, according to an order issued Thursday by the US District Court for the Southern District of California.
