Bad Bunny was hit with a lawsuit in federal court in California by BM Records, which says the Puerto Rican rapper unlawfully incorporated parts of three works by DJ Playero into his hit song, “Safaera.”
BM Records, which was founded in 1978 and ultimately became one of the biggest records labels in Puerto Rico, sued Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, known as Bad Bunny, as well as other related parties. The three works by DJ Playero allegedly used in Bad Bunny’s song are “Besa Tu Cuerpo,” “Chocha Con Bicho,” and “Sigan Bailando.”
