Baccus Gets Some Relief in Trademark Suit by Ousted Manager

Several trademark claims against power, lighting, and air equipment maker Baccus Global LLC, by a former managing member of the company were dismissed by a federal court, but other infringement claims are currently headed for trial.

From 2008 to 2020, Matthew Inskeep was the managing member of Baccus. He also set up a trademark holding company called The Consumer Group that licensed its marks exclusively to Baccus. In February 2020, Inskeep was ousted from his position with Baccus, the opinion Judge Roy K. Altmanof the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida said.
