B. Riley Securities Inc. has reached an agreement to end litigation that spanned two states with one its former top investment bankers over allegations that the banker stole trade secrets as he left the firm.
Attorneys for B. Riley filed a notice of nonsuit with prejudice Monday in Dallas state court. The same day in Los Angeles, attorneys for banker David Merriman filed an unconditional settlement notice that gives Jan. 23 as the date of settlement between the parties. Neither party’s lawyers could immediately be reached for comment.
