Aurora Cannabis Inc. will pay $8.05 million to to end years-long litigation alleging the company inflated its stock price with a fake transaction to hide overproduction and limited retail issues.
The $8.05 million will go to a class of Aurora investors who acquired stock in the company between Oct. 23, 2018, and Feb. 28, 2020. The US District Court for the District of New Jersey granted preliminary approval of the settlement on Thursday.
