Attorney Sues Texas Instruments Claiming Race, Disability Bias

Global semiconductor company Texas Instruments Inc. has been sued by a former employee who alleges she was terminated after requesting medical leave and remote work accommodations.

Former legal counsel Alexus Williams says, in a complaintfiled in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas Tuesday, that she was subjected to retaliation, racial discrimination, and failure to accommodate a disability in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 1981, and the Texas Labor Code.
