The Atlanta Public School system trimmed some retaliation claims by a parent who alleges public school contracts with her business were terminated after she complained of racial segregation in the classrooms.
Plaintiff Kila Posey, the mother of a child at APS’s Mary Lin Elementary School, alleged that Principal Sharyn Briscoe was segregating Black students in designated classes.
