AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP convinced a federal judge in Illinois to dismiss a collective action accusing the company of paying female sales employees less than their male counterparts for the same work.
Female AstraZeneca sales employees Natalie Jirek, Nancy Ledinsky, and Judy Teske sued over purported pay disparities in 2021. The plaintiffs alleged violation of the Equal Pay Act and of a state-based act with similar aims.
