AstraZeneca provided sufficient evidence showing its ex-district sales manager, Gail Downing, was terminated based on the company’s good faith belief she violated its company policy, said Chief District Judge William L. Campbell Jr. of the US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. Campbell granted the pharmaceutical company summary judgment on Downing’s discrimination claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the state’s human rights law.
