An Arkansas man failed with his claims that Washington County, Ark., discriminated against him by firing for using earned sick time to attend reevaluations of his veteran’s disability benefits, a federal court ruled.
Steve Fillmore, a military veteran and former Washington County Road Department employee, failed to provide documentation to support excusing his absences from work, the US District Court for the Western District of Arkansas said.
