Argus Stock Fraud Participant Agrees to Pay SEC About $375,000

A California man involved in manipulating the stock of Argus Worldwide Corp. has settled with the SEC, agreeing to an officer and director bar and disgorgement, according to a federal court filing.

Brehnen Knight, who pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit securities fraud, consented to pay more than $385,000 in disgorgement plus about $60,000 in interest, Knight said in an agreement filed Monday in the US District Court for the Southern District of California. Offset by the approximately $71,000 in restitution ordered in his criminal case, his payment to the Securities and Exchange Commission comes to more than $374,000, according ...
