Arconic Unit Sued Over Layoffs at Indiana Manufacturing Facility

An Arconic manufacturing facility in Indiana laid off workers without the required notice under federal law, a new a proposed class action says.

Ashley Vanderipe is suing Arconic US LLC for violating the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act after the company laid off her position as press operator along with up to 100 other jobs, she says in a lawsuit filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
