Aramark Gets Bias Suit Trimmed, But Retaliation Claim Survives

A former food service worker at East Carolina University is able to proceed with a retaliation claim against his ex-employer after a district court dismissed other related claims and a dozen individuals from the lawsuit.

Larry F. Murphy’s claims against Aramark Food Service and Facilities Management‘s subsidiary at the university were dismissed for failure to state a claim, Judge Louise W. Flanagan of the US District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, said.
