Indiana-based Apria Healthcare LLC will pay nearly $6.4 million to settle a proposed class action over a 2021 data breach that exposed the information of almost 1.9 million patients, under a deal given final approval in federal court.
Class members are eligible for reimbursement of up to $2,000 in breach-related expenses and a pro-rata share of the net settlement fund, according to the plaintiffs’ motion for final settlement approval.
