Apple, Players Want Game App Gambling Suits Sent to California

Consumers suing Apple Inc. over app store-purchased casino-style games the plaintiffs say are illegal gambling told the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation they support the company’s bid to combine the litigation in a Northern California federal court.

Plaintiffs in six would-be class suits said in a Monday filing they agree with Apple that the most appropriate district for pretrial proceedings is the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, where Apple and many important witnesses and documents are located.
